The former district court was built in 1896 and used as the Charlottenburg land registry until 2010.
In a sensitive dialogue with the existing spaces, Grüntuch Ernst Architects transformed the listed building into a multidisciplinary space for culture, art, architecture and design.
Amtsalon is a place and platform for temporary projects – for collaboration, encounter, exchange and exhibition. It is part of an ensemble with Hotel Wilmina and Restaurant Lovis.
The 2. Amtsalon Gallery Pop-Up takes place in strict compliance with current hygiene regulations (2G+) so that art and exhibitions can continue to be experienced safely in times like these. Please help us to protect yourself and others. The event can be visited from 1st to 5th of December 2021 between 12 am – 8 pm with a valid access pass. The visit is free of charge. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, access will be regulated and operated in compliance with the Infection Protection Act. Visitors are therefore granted a maximum of 90 minutes access with a valid access pass, which can be booked online.
We ask for your understanding that changes may occur at short notice due to ongoing developments in the COVID-19 pandemic.
Upon registering online, every visitor receives a personalised access pass which is linked to the contact details provided. Only those named on this access pass, who can identify themselves with a valid ID document (passport, identity card, or driver’s license) can enter the event. As all passes are personalised, the transfer of passes to other persons in generally not possible. However, in certain exceptional cases, the Amtsalon team can organise a transfer of a pass to another person. In this case, please send a request to email@example.com at least 48 hours before the booked time slot including the following information: your booking number, your contact details and the full contact details of the new visitor.
According to §3 of the current infection protection ordinance, the Amtsalon team is obliged to collect the personal contact details of all guests.
Please bring your personalised access pass, a valid identification document (passport, ID card or driver’s license) as well as a mask (medical mask or FFP2 mask without an exhalation valve). Additionally, a vaccination certificate or a certificate of recovery, as well as a negative corona-test from an official testing station (self-testing is not sufficient), which is not older than 24 hours, are required to visit the Amtsalon event. - Admission requirement:
Vaccinated individuals who have been vaccinated against Covid-19 with a European Union-approved vaccine and whose last required vaccination was at least 14 days ago;
- Recovered persons who can demonstrate a positive PCR test result for SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus infection at least 28 days and no more than six months ago.
- In addition: Presentation of a negative coronate test from an official testing centre (self-test is not sufficient), which is not older than 24 hours.

Access to the event can be refused if the identity of the person named on the access pass cannot be confirmed through a valid ID document, if the visitor refuses to wear the required mouth-nose covering (medical mask or FFP2 mask without an exhalation valve), or if no negative test result is provided.
To comply with the current hygiene regulations, admission is only possible within the first 15 minutes of the booked time slot. Later admission or entry during a different time slot is not possible. To avoid gathering, please arrive no earlier than 10 minutes before your booked time slot.
Amtsalon Berlin takes place in strict accordance with the current ordinances set out to contain the spread of the Coronavirus SARS-CoV-2. Please help us to protect yourself and others.
Please stay home if you have any identifiable symptoms of COVID-19, other cold symptoms, or if you have been in contact with someone with a confirmed infection in the last 14 days.
All participants and visitors must adhere to the specified hygiene regulations:
- Please bring all required documents (see FAQ What do I have to bring to the event?)
- A face mask (FFP2 mask without exhalation valve) covering your mouth and nose must be worn at all times when inside the building.
- Please follow the signposted one-way route inside the building and maintain a minimum distance of 1.5m from participants and other visitors. The designated number of occupants per room must not be exceeded.
- Please ensure regular hand hygiene. Disinfectant dispensers are available throughout the building and soap dispensers are available in the sanitary facilities.
